CANYON – Tyler Gibson put in his team-high fourth goal of the season just before the half to give The University of Texas of the Permian Basin an early lead, but two second half goals by West Texas A&M lifted it to a 2-1 victory. 
 
Gibson's shot connected from long range as his unassisted goal found the top corner at the 43^rd minute.  The Falcons would keep a 1-0 lead at the half, but four minutes into the second half, Daniel Angloher tied the match on an unassisted goal just outside the penalty box. 
 
Conrad Grrouldbourne scored the game winner at the 67:30 when he put in a corner kick by John Cox. 
 
The Buffs out-shot UTPB 11-6 but both teams had six shots on goal.  Craig Branum had four saves in goal for the Falcons as they fell to 3-7 on the year.
