Kristian Quintana dribbled through several Texas Permian defenders and eventually got a shot off inside the box that found the bottom left corner of the net in overtime which lifted Texas A&M International to a 1-0 victory over UTPB.

The win for the Dustdevils marked the second time they have defeated the Falcons in extra time. TAMIU took a 1-0 win the first time the two teams played, but it took double overtime to do it earlier this season in Laredo.

Both teams had numerous chances in regulation, but the Falcons poured on the offense in the game's final 15 minutes but were unable to convert. UTPB got 18 shots off, eight of which were on goal. A&M International had 15 shots, but only four on goal.

The Falcons moved to 2-12 on the year and 2-4 in Heartland Conference play, while A&M International is fighting for the top spot in the league standings with a 5-1 conference mark.

UTPB will hit the road when it takes on Northeast Oklahoma at 1 p.m. in Tahlequah, Okla. The Falcons will return home on Sunday, Oct. 31 first when they host Newman for their final home game of the season.
