Zeke Lott was hired as the next tight ends coach for the UTPB football team in January 2026, bringing a strong background in player development and leadership. His experience in player relations and development adds another valuable dimension to Head Coach Chris Softley’s inagural coaching staff as the Falcons continue building a holistic, student-athlete-focused program.
He is the former Abilene Christian University Director of Football Operations. Lott also spent time at ACU as the football team's chaplain and head of player relations. In his role, Lott provided an outlet for players to focus on their spiritual formation through weekly team chapels and Bible studies.
Lott started at ACU as a student-athlete, walking-on to the football team as a linebacker from 2020-21. He earned his bachelor's in Kinesiology from ACU in 2024.
