Crimson Mathis began as a Student Assistant Football Coach (Wide Receivers) at UT Permian Basin in Fall 2026. He is an Education major.
Mathis played for the Falcons for three seasons (2023-25), including suiting up during his final season with all three of his brothers: Champ, Caimon and Canden.
In his final season, Mathis recorded his first-career reception was a 47-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter of the Falcons' regular-season finale vs. Sul Ross State (Nov. 15, 2025).
In his career at UTPB, he was named to the Lone Star Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll three times: Spring 2024, Fall 2025 and Spring 2026.
In high school, Mathis was Second-Team All-District and Second-Team Academic All-State as a senior at DeSoto High School.
