Caleb Pierson, the Athletic Development Coordinator at The University of Texas of the Permian Basin based in Odessa, Texas, brings a strong background in both athletics and business to this role. He most recently served as a Recruiting Coordinator at Diamondback Energy from May 2025 to April 2026, where he developed valuable experience in talent evaluation and organizational development.
A former collegiate athlete, Pierson played linebacker at The University of Texas Permian Basin (UTPB) from 2021 to 2025. During his time with the Falcons, he demonstrated dedication both on and off the field, earning Dean’s List honors in 2023 and 2024. Prior to his collegiate career, he attended Huffman Hargrave High School, where he graduated in 2021. As a standout linebacker, he earned All-State honors and graduated in the top-10 percent of his class.
Pierson holds both a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), earned in August 2024, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA), earned in August 2025, from UTPB, equipping him with a strong foundation in leadership, strategy, and performance development.
In his free time, Caleb enjoys golfing, watching sports, and spending quality time with friends and family.
