UTPB Athletics

Bryan Miskimens was promoted to Director of Sports Medicine at The University of Texas Permian Basin in August 2025 and enters his fourth year at UTPB overall in 2026-27.

He was previously an Athletic Trainer for Paris Junior College (Paris, Texas) for two years.

Miskimens earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training from Weber State University in Ogden, Utah, and finished his MBA here at UTPB at the end of the Summer of 2025.

He played basketball, baseball and football in high school.

Miskimens is from Olympia, Washington, but now lives in Texas with his wife and two kids.

In his spare time he enjoys taking his kids to the park, exercising, camping, and working on outdoor yard projects/landscaping.
