Austrian (Aus) Robinson is the Falcons' defensive tackles coach in 2025. He was the assistant defensive line coach in his first season in 2024.
In Robinson's second season at UTPB (2025), the Falcon's made the NCAA Division II Playoffs for the second time in program history and advanced to the Super Region Final (NCAA Quarterfinals) for the first time in program history. UTPB finished the season 11-3 overall, setting a program record for wins in a single season while also earning the first two playoff wins in program history, and was in a three-team tie for second in the Lone Star Conference with a 7-2 record. Robinson helped coach four honorable mention all-conference players in 2025, including defensive tackles David Walker and Anthony Cunningham and defensive ends Malik Allen and Jacob Humphrey.
Robinson played as a defensive end at the University of Mississippi (Oxford, Miss.) from 2015 to 2019, where he was named the 2019 Chucky Mullins Courage Award winner. Robinson appeared in 38 career games on the Rebels' defensive line. He finished his career with 81 total tackles, including 7.5 tackles for loss. He played in all 12 games in his final season (2019), starting 10 games at defensive end. Robinson finished the season with a career-high 29 tackles and his first career interception.
After his collegiate career, Robinson signed with the Carolina Panthers as a priority free agent. He would go on to play for Montreal in the Canadian Football League (CFL) and Tampa bay in the United States Football League (USFL).
Robinson played on both the offensive and defensive lines for Trinity-Pawling School (Pawling, N.Y.) from 2012 to 2015, where he was named to the Erickson All-Conference Team and was rated as the No. 1 or No. 2 prospect in the state of New York by all the recruiting services. A consensus 3-star prospect, Robinson was rated the No. 33 strongside defensive end by Rivals and was listed as the nation’s No. 59 offensive tackle by Scout. He was also a top-100 basketball recruit until the 11th grade.
A native of Harlem, New York, Robinson's family now live in Charlotte, North Carolina. He graduated from Ole Miss in 2019 with his degree in general studies. He enjoys both listening to and making music, describes himself as a big lake guy, and says he likes traveling and playing basketball.
