Biography
2025 (Redshirt Junior):
Was one of six players to start in all 16 matches... Was one of 10 players to log over 1,000 minutes on the season... Totaled seven shots and four shots on goal on the year... Tied her career-high with four total shots and had a season-high two shots on goal at Sul Ross State (Oct. 22). Tarrago helped spearhead a UTPB attack that set a program record in the NCAA Division II era with 40 shot attempts against the Lobos... Her lasting effect in the locker room led the Falcons to being one of the best defensive teams in program history... Helped UTPB log four shutouts as a team and hold its opponent to one goal or less in 10 matches, including doing so in each of the first seven matches of the season... The Falcons went until the very last match of the season without giving up three goals in a match and carried a 1.00 goals-against average heading into the final week of the season... Helped the Falcons set new program records for goals allowed in a season (19) and goals-against average (1.19)... UTPB ranked seventh in the LSC in goals-against average and was ninth in goals allowed... Named to the Fall 2025 Lone Star Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll.
2024 (Junior):
Missed the season due to injury... Named to the Fall 2024 Lone Star Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll.
2023 (Sophomore):
Played in 14 matches, drawing the start in 11... Scored four goals for eight points... Had two goals in a single match in a 3-2 win at Sul Ross State (Sept. 19), recording the fastest two goals in a single match in program history (just eight minutes apart)... Season highlight was scoring a goal in the 49th minute to tie (1-1) an important match against Angelo State (Oct. 11)... Named to the Fall 2023 Lone Star Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll.
2022 (First-Year):
Played in four matches with one start before season ended due to injury.
High School:
Also participated in basketball, volleyball and track & field in high school.
International Experience:
Three-time Guatemala National Women’s League Champion with club team Unifut (2019, 2020 and 2021)... Was a member of the Guatemala Under-20 National Team (2019-2022)... Was a member of the Guatemala Women’s National Team (2023).
Personal:
Made the Dean's List at UTPB (Summer 2024)... Has been a Resident Assistant (RA) at UTPB since Spring 2023... Is a SHPE (Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers) Member and a ALCHE (American Institute of Chemical Engineers) Member at UTPB.
