Biography
2025 (First-Year):
Was one of six players to start in all 16 matches... Was one of five players to log over 1,300 minutes and was third on the team in minutes played... Played all 90 minutes in eight matches... Was one of six Falcons to score a goal on the season... Was tied for fourth on the team in total shots (9) and shots on goal (4)... Had at least one shot in six matches... Played all 90 minutes, had two shots, and had UTPB's first shot of the season in the 14th minute in her first collegiate match vs. Colorado State Pueblo (Sept. 4)... Scored her first-career goal and UTPB's first goal of the season in the 21st minute during UTPB's first win of the season, 3-1, vs. Wayland Baptist (Sept. 10)... Helped UTPB log four shutouts as a team and hold its opponent to one goal or less in 10 matches, including doing so in each of the first seven matches of the season... The Falcons went until the very last match of the season without giving up three goals in a match and carried a 1.00 goals-against average heading into the final week of the season... Helped the Falcons set new program records for goals allowed in a season (19) and goals-against average (1.19)... UTPB ranked seventh in the LSC in goals-against average and was ninth in goals allowed... Named to the Fall 2025 Lone Star Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll.
Hobbs (HS):
As the very first commitment for the Falcons in her recruiting class, Vasquez made her mark for Hobbs High School in New Mexico... Over her time at the varsity level, she was named to an All-District team all four years, three-times to the First-Team and once with a Second-Team honor... Was also a two-time Second-Team All-State selection and was named to the All-Star Red team while maintaining the “A honor roll”... Three-time First-Team All-District (2023, 2024, 2025)... 2021 Second-Team All-District... Two-time Second-Team All-State (2024, 2025)... 2025 All-State Team... 2024 and 2025 Team Captain... Totaled eight goals and five assists... Team three-peated as District Champs... Member of the "A Honor Roll"... Also participated in powerlifting... Holds the squat record of 275 in the 123 weight class... Two time State powerlifting medalist.
