Biography
2025-26 (Redshirt Freshman):
Competed in seven of the team’s nine meets, including the RMAC Championship... Set three personal bests and three season bests at the midseason meet (Tiger Invitational)... Finished as the second alternate (18th place) in both the 200 IM (1:59.88) and the 100 breaststroke (1:00.36) at the RMAC Championship... Also made the B Final and finished in 15th place in the 200 breaststroke (2:12.00). Beard improved upon his time by over three seconds from the prelims to the finals and earned a spot in the top-16 for the first time as a freshman after finishing 18th (second alternate) in two previous events during the championship... Was T80th in scoring (2 points) and set one personal best and three season bests at the RMAC Championship... Ranked 14th on the team according to FINA points.
