2025-26 (First-Year):
Competed in all nine of the team’s meets, including the RMAC Championship... Won the 100 backstroke with a time of 54.36 seconds and was second in the 50 backstroke with a time of 24.44 seconds in his first collegiate meet (dual meet at Oklahoma Christian)... Set one personal best and two season bests in the dual meet at Trinity... Set two personal bests and one season best in the next dual meet vs. Southwestern as he finished first with a personal best of 52.56 seconds in the 100 butterly and set another personal best with a time of 1:00.23 to take second place in the 100 breaststroke... Then set five personal bests and three season bests at the midseason meet (Tiger Invitational)... On the first day of competition at the midseason meet, UTPB's "A" relay team (swam leadoff) finished second and broke the school record in the 400 medley relay with a time of 3:20.73, dropping 5.62 seconds off their seed time. He also swam leadoff on UTPB's 200 freestyle "B" relay team that finished third at 1:25.01 during day one... Then during day two at the midseason meet, Turner led the way for UTPB in second place with a time of 50.36 seconds in the 100 backstroke and swam leadoff on UTPB's 200 medley "B" relay team that finished third at 1:32.46... Lastly during day three of the midseason meet, Turner competed in the 100 freestyle and finished in fourth place with a time of 46.23 seconds. Then in the final event of the meet, UTPB's 400 freestyle "A" relay team finished second with a time of 3:04.17... Named UTPB's Men's Student-Athlete of the Month for February after his performance at the RMAC Championship... Competed in all five relay races for the UTPB "A" team at the RMAC Championship... Played a part in all four relay records (800 freestyle relay, 200 medley relay, 400 medley relay, 200 freestyle relay) set by the UTPB men's team to go along with one individual record (100 backstroke – relay leadoff split) at the RMAC Championship... The highlight of opening night at the RMAC Championship was the 800 freestyle relay, which saw the UTPB "A" relay team finish fifth overall with a time of 6:45.38 (altitude converted time of 6:40.58), destroying the previous UTPB school record. The Falcons were also just 1.83 seconds from overtaking Oklahoma Christian for fourth place... To finish day two of the conference championship, the UTPB 200 medley "A" relay team (swam leadoff) finished fifth overall, doing so with a school record time of 1:30.29. The Falcons just missed out of third place by .05 seconds... In the final race of the day on Thursday, the UTPB 400 medley "A" relay team (swam leadoff) finished fifth with a school record time of 3:19.85 (altitude adjusted time of 3:19.45). In addition to the 400 medley relay record, Turner led off with a 49.47 second-split (altitude adjusted time of 49.37 seconds) in the 100 backstroke, marking another record... Swam on UTPB's 200 freestyle "A" relay team that finished with a school record time at 1:21.59, earning Second-Team All-RMAC recognition with a fourth-place finish... Also swam on UTPB's 400 freestyle "A" relay team that competed in the championship heat and finished in fifth place (3:03.34)... His best individual finish was fifth place in the 100 backstroke, finishing fifth in the prelims with a time of 49.99 seconds and remaining in fifth in the finals at 49.51 seconds... Also made the B Final and finished 12th in the 100 freestyle. He was 15th in the prelims (46.44) before moving up to 12th place with a time of 45.76 seconds in the finals... Was tied for third on the Falcons (T48th overall) in scoring (19 points) and set four personal bests at the RMAC Championship... Ranked second on the team and 51st in the RMAC according to FINA points following the conclusion of the conference championship.
