2025-26 (First-Year):
Competed in eight of the team’s nine meets as a true freshman, including the RMAC Championship... Was second in the 200 backstroke with a time of 1:54.06 and got third in the 100 backstroke with a time of 52.69 at the Sam Freas Invitational... Finished first in the 100 backstroke with a time of 52.49 seconds and second in the 500 freestyle (5:10.04) during UTPB's home dual meet vs. Southwestern... Set five personal bests and two season bests at the midseason meet (Tiger Invitational). During day one of the midseason meet, Workman swam on UTPB's 200 freestyle "B" relay team that finished third at 1:25.01... Then during day two of the midseason meet, Workman finished fourth in the 100 backstroke (50.78)... During the final day of the midseason meet, Workman took second in the 200 backstroke with a time of 1:51.34 while his prelim time of 1:50.19 in the event broke UTPB's school record that stood since 2010... Earned Second-Team All-RMAC honors in the 200 backstroke and reset his own school record in the event twice during the RMAC Championship... Swimming in a time trial at the end of the day on Wednesday at the RMAC Championship, Workman swam in the 200 backstroke and broke his own school record set at this year's midseason meet. Workman swam a time of 1:49.94 (altitude adjusted time of 1:48.74), breaking his previous record time by almost a second and a half... Workman started the final day (Saturday) of the RMAC Championship with a top-four finish and a time of 1:51.18 in the prelims of the 200 backstroke. Then in the A Final, Workman remained in fourth place, earning Second-Team All-RMAC honors with a time of 1:49.35. For the second time during the championship meet, Workman rebroke his own school record in the 200 backstroke as his altitude adjusted time of 1:48.15 broke his previous adjusted record time of 1:48.74 set during a time trial on Wednesday... Also made the B Final and put together a top-10 finish in the 100 backstroke. Workman was 14th in the prelims at 51.78 seconds, but then in the B Final, he moved up four spots to 10th place and improved his time to 51.05 seconds... Was second on the Falcons and T45th overall in scoring (22 points) at the RMAC Championships... Also set two personal bests at the RMAC Championship... Ranked 10th on the team according to FINA points.
