Higueros enters his first season as an assistant athletic trainer at UT Permian Basin.  He recently graduated from the University of La Verne, a Division III school in Southern California.  He has interned with the Las Vegas Raiders and holds memberships with the California Athletic Trainers' Association and the Far West Athletic Trainers' Association.
