AS A FRESHMAN:  Appeared in all 17 games in goal for the Falcons and started eight…Made 96 saves and finished with a 4-10-1 record…All four wins came in a shutout. 
HIGH SCHOOL:  Played four seasons at Permian High School in Odessa, Texas…Helped team to a 15-3 record as a senior…Was named the Goal Keeper of the Year in the district as a junior and senior.
PERSONAL:  Chris Benavides was born Nov. 11, 1990 in Odessa, Texas…Is the son of Mike and Christina Benavides of Odessa…Majoring in mechanical engineering.
