Biography
2026 (Sophomore):
Was part of the historic team that set a program record for Lone Star Conference wins and tied for the second-most overall wins in UTPB softball history... Started 39 of 42 games played, ranking fourth on the team in both games played and starts... Totaled six runs, 12 hits, one double, one triple, five RBI's, 15 total bases and six walks in 73 at bats... Primarily played second base, finishing with a .947 fielding percentage... Recorded 52 assists, which ranked third on the team, while adding 56 putouts and helping turn two double plays.... Tied for the team-lead with six defensive assists in one game (Feb. 8 vs. NOSU)... Was deployed primarly as the team's flex player and as a defensive standout at second base... Had an RBI in both games (single, fielder's choice) vs. New Mexico Highlands (Jan. 31-Feb. 1) during the South Central Regional Tournament... Batted 2-for-4 and drew a leadoff walk in the top of the 10th inning before coming around to score the go-ahead run in a 6-3 win in game one at Texas A&M International (Mar. 29). Then after scoring what would be the winning run for UTPB in game one against the Dustdevils, Serrato tripled home the Falcons' only run in game two... Was 1-for-2 with a walk and had both a run and an RBI in the same game for the only time this season in game one at Western New Mexico (Apr. 12)... Named to the Fall 2025 and Spring 2026 Lone Star Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll. Â
2025 (First-Year):
Appeared in 45 games as a true freshman, drawing the start in 29 games... Played four different positions on the year, with her primary positions being at second base (23 games) or as a pinch hitter (8 games)... Totaled 13 runs, 18 hits, one double and seven RBI's... Recorded her first-career hit, first-career walk and first-career run in her very first games vs. Schreiner (Jan. 31)... Hit her first-career double in a win vs. Sul Ross State (Apr. 6)... Totaled 43 putouts and 37 assists and had just one error in 81 chances (.988 fielding percentage)... Ranked third on the team in assists.
Brewer High School:
Played high school softball at Brewer High School in Fort Worth, Texas...Freshman Season: Varsity Starter, District 5-5A Newcomer of the Year, Academic All-District 5-5A, Bi-District Champions, Area Champions, Regional Quarterfinalists 5-5A... Sophomore Season: Second-Team All-District 5-5A, Academic All-District 5-5A, Bi-District Finalists... Junior Season: Honorable Mention All-District 5-5A, Bi-District Champions, Regional Finalists 5-5A... Senior Season: Fist-Team All District 5-5A, Academic All-District 5-5A, 2024 Honorable Mention Academic All-State,  Bi-District Champions, Regional Finalists 5-5A.
Personal:
Personal highlights from her time at UTPB include working with the Food Bank and Special Olympics, and making the Dean's List during both semesters her sophomore year... She enjoys traveling in her free time and helping out the community any in way she can.
