HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated as the top student in her class at City View High School…Played four seasons for coach Rudy Hawkins where she hit .502 with an on-base percentage of .532 and 40 stolen bases in 31 games as a senior…As a pitcher in her final season she recorded a 0.9 ERA in 160 innings pitched with 219 strikeouts…She was also named first team all-district as well as the Defensive Player of the Year and a member of the Red River Diamond Dozen…As a junior she was named honorable mention All-State as well as first team all-district and the Red River Diamond Dozen Pitcher of the year…Finished with an ERA of 1.85 in 170 innings pitched to go along with a .576 batting average her junior season…As a sophomore she was named second team All-State as an outfielder as well as first team all-district as a pitcher and a member of the Red River Diamond Dozen…Hit .552 and posted an ERA of 1.87 as a pitcher her second season of varsity play…In her freshman season she hit .466 and was named first team all-district as an outfielder and was a scholar athlete…Helped her team to a bi-district championship as a freshman and sophomore and lead her team to a district championship…Holds the school record for on-base percentage in a season at .611, highest batting average in a season (.576), highest batting average in a career (.522) and lowest ERA in a season (0.918)…Also garnered two letters in volleyball.

PERSONAL: Tomie Ellard was born Dec. 2, 1991 in Wichita Falls, Texas and is the daughter of Beverly and Lee Ellard of Wichita Falls…Majoring in computer science.
