SAN ANTONIO, Texas (April 20, 2026) – The University of Texas Permian Basin softball team's road doubleheader at St. Mary's University has been canceled.

UTPB has won game one in its last three series and has won at least one game in each of its last four series overall, and will now turn its attention to its final weekend at home. The Falcons are also just one win away from tying their most Lone Star Conference wins in a single season (8) in program history.

UTPB returns to Odessa, Texas, next weekend for its final two home series of the season. The Falcons will open on Friday, 24, against Midwestern State University (2/4 p.m.) before hosting Senior Day on Sunday, April 26, against Lubbock Christian University (12/2 p.m.).
