ODESSA, Texas – If you want some great Salsa, then the place to be is at Ratliff Stadium, Saturday, Sept. 30.  The cook-off is in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month (Sept. 15 – Oct. 15).
 
The tailgate is set to run from 2:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.  The UTPB Salsa Cook-Off is set to run during the same time frame.  There is a $10 fee to enter the cook-off.
 
There will be live music, food, drinks and more.
 
To cap it off, The University of Texas Permian Basin's football team will kick off at 6:00 p.m. against Lone Star foe Texas A&M Kingsville.
