The Falcons

• The Falcons are one of five teams in the Lone Star Conference with 300 or more hits this season.
• The team is third in the league in doubles with 56 and tied for second in triples with 15.  
• Valerie Gonzalez is third in the league with 45 hits.  The senior also has a team leading .388 batting average.
• Aracely Araiza is tied for third in the conference with 11 doubles, the third most in a season in program history.  
• Mia Quintero has been swinging a hot bat of late.  The sophomore is hitting .358 on the season and is tied for the team lead with six home runs.  
• This is the Rattlers first visit to Odessa since 2016 and just the second series between the two since then.  The Falcons lone win in the series came back in 2011.

The Rattlers

• The Rattlers come in with the fourth lowest team ERA in the LSC at 2.31.
• They have won four straight games and have been receiving votes in the latest national poll.
• Catalina Cavazos is fourth in the conference in ERA and tied for the league lead with 14 victories.
