The Falcons

• The Falcons are fourth in the Lone Star Conference in hits with 280.  The team is also seventh in the league in scoring with 175 runs.
• The team is also third in doubles (55) and triples (14) in the LSC
• Valerie Gonzalez is tied for fifth in the league with a career high 40 hits.  The Falcon leadoff hitter is batting .392 while also scoring a team high 27 times.
• Julia Bumford leads the Falcons with a .474 batting average and also leads the team in home runs with six and RBI with 32.
• Aracely Araiza is second in the LSC with 11 doubles, tying her for the third most in a single season in program history.   
• The Falcons last beat Texas A&M - Kingsville in 2017, a 4-3 win in Odessa.  The last five games in the series have all been played in Odessa.

 
The Javelinas

• The Javelinas have the 10th best ERA in the nation at 1.70.  
• Freshman Carissa De Los Santos is 12th in the nation in ERA and leads the LSC with a 0.94.  She hasn't allowed more than two earned runs in any appearance this season.
• The Javelinas have the second best team batting average in the LSC and rank eighth in Division II at .366.
• Last week the Javelinas took care of business against Eastern New Mexico before being swept by No. 6 West Texas A&M in Canyon.
