The Falcons 

• The Falcons were led Evelyn Duran during the weekend. She hit for a .444 batting average and had a three-hit game. Melayna Lopez hit her first home run as a Falcon as well. Julia Bumford, Valerie Gonzalez, and Sydney Bishop all hit above .300 on the weekend.
• On the pitching side the Falcons were led by Desini Trahan who gave the Falcons 4.2 innings of shutout ball against Colorado Christian.
• This will be the 3rd time the Falcons and Mustangs play against each other. The Falcons lead the series 2-0 as they swept them in a doubleheader last year in Odessa.

The Mustangs

• The Mustangs are 0-4 on the season as they were swept by Oklahoma Panhandle State at home. Through four games their leading hitter is Felicity Villanueva who is hitting .556 on the season with a pair of doubles.
• Their leading pitcher is Ashley Alvarez who has pitched 11.1 innings striking out seven batters. She has allowed 15 runs on 18 hits in the two games she has started.
