The Falcons

• Julia Bumford has been carrying the Falcons offensively all season long.  After going 3-for-4 with four RBI yesterday, the sophomore is fifth in the Lone Star Conference with 21 RBI and seventh in batting average at .523. 
• Valerie Gonzalez is tied for second in LSC with 24 hits on the year.  She also is second in the league with three triples.
• The Falcons have already surpassed their win total from last season and hit more home runs before Lone Star Conference play.
• Yesterday the Falcons scored 16 runs and climbed out of an 8-0 hole to beat the Patriots in the first all-time meeting between the two programs.

The Lady Patriots

• The Lady Patriots broke out offensively yesterday scoring 11 runs on 12 hits.  Brianna Escalante hit a pair of home runs and drove in six runs. 
• They are led in the circle by Kyndal Murphy.  The freshman has struck out 15 over 23.0 innings of work.
