The Falcons

• The Falcons started the weekend at the WT Invitational strong, winning their first three games.  The Falcons ran their winning streak up to six before dropping the final two games of the weekend.
• Julia Bumford carried the offense in Canyon.  She hit .471 with eight hits, four home runs, and 13 RBI.  She hit three home runs and drove in six in the win over Northern State.
• Valerie Gonzalez also had a good time at the plate up north.  She hit .438 in the lead off spot with three triples and scored six times. 
• Cynthia Ng was terrific in the circle throwing a team high 12 innings.  She pitched to a 2.92 ERA and picked up a pair of victories.
• The Falcons have already surpassed their win total from last season and hit more home runs before Lone Star Conference play.
• This is the first meeting all-time between the programs.

The Lady Patriots

• The Lady Patriots have struggled at the plate this season and have just two hitters with a .300 average or better.
• They are led in the circle by Kyndal Murphy.  The freshman has struck out 15 over 23.0 innings of work.
