Cynthia Ng may be a freshman, but she didn't pitch like one over the weekend for UT Permian Basin Softball.  On Sunday, she went 4.1 innings and allowed just one earned run in relief against Northern State.  She's allowed just two earned over her last nine innings of work. 
 
Cayln Brister started in the circle for the Falcons and struck out two in 2.2 innings before turning the ball over to Ng.  Ng allowed just one home run in fourth and a single in the seventh and kept the Wolves off balance.  Offensively the Falcons were kept quiet until the sixth.  Leslie Martinez started the inning with a double after a 12-pitch at bat.  Two batters later, Julia Bumford drove her in with a single to get the Falcons on the board.  That's all they could manage as they scattered three hits on the day for the 5-1 final.
