The Falcons

• The Falcons are 3-1 so far at the WT Invitational.  The Falcons had won six straight before falling their last time out. 
• The team has already eclipsed their win total from last season as well as the home run total.
• Julia Bumford continues to rake, the sophomore leads the team with a .514 batting average, a .581 on-base percentage, and 16 RBI.  She is tied for the team lead with four home runs and second on the team in doubles with four.
• The Falcons are second in the Lone Star Conference with 143 hits, sixth in home runs with 13, and seventh in runs with 94.
• Bumford is in the top 10 in the LSC in batting average, home runs, and RBI on the young season.
• The Falcons beat the Wolves earlier this weekend 13-9 behind three home runs from Bumford.

 
The Wolves

• The Wolves have lost four straight at the WT Invitational, including twice to Texas A&M – Commerce. 
• Despite their losing streak, the team is still hitting .321 as a team with seven home runs in eight games.
• In the circle, Meghan Anderson has a whopping 44 strikeouts in just 27 innings.  Reagan Elrod, the only other player to pitch for the Wolves this season, got the nod the first time these two teams met.
