11/9/2022 11:25:00 AM

Volleyball
Chandra Reed - Thrall, Texas - Junior - Reed had a big week at the net for the Falcons.  She had nine kills and nine blocks on Friday against UT Tyler to lead the Falcons.

Football
Joseph Williams - Long Beach, California - Senior - Williams and the Falcon defense held Western New Mexico to their worst offensive output outside of Abilene Christian and Angelo State, allowing just 223 total yards. While the senior made just two tackles on senior night, his presence was certainly felt in the first half. Williams got the Falcons on the board in the second quarter with a safety. After the Falcons scored on the ensuing drive, Williams deflected a pass at the line which led to an interception and another Falcon touchdown. He capped off his half with a one-yard touchdown run with 10 seconds on the clock to make it a two-score game.

Nathan Tilford - Fontana, California - Senior - Tilford was tough to bring down in Saturday's 37-14 win over Western New Mexico, rushing for a career-high 108 yards and two touchdowns. The senior punched it in from five yards out in the second quarter and scored again on the team's first drive of the second half to really put the game out of reach. The senior averaged 7.7 yards per carry on senior night. He needed just 14 carries to go over the century mark and helped the Falcons run for 351 yards, the fourth most in program history.

Women's Tennis
Lisa Guitton - Claix, France - Senior - Guitton had a good weekend in El Paso.  She started on Friday with a close three-set match against a Division I opponent before closing it with a win on Sunday.
