After a thrilling final day of the regular season to get into the Lone Star Conference playoffs, UT Permian Basin Men's Soccer's magic ran out Tuesday night at Lubbock Christian.  It was not without it's chances as the Falcons recorded 11 shots on the night.

The Chaps controlled the pace early before Gustavo Barroso had the first chance with a shot on goal.  Shots were difficult to come by, with only Leonardo Bonelli able to get one before the half.  The Falcons had opportunities in the second half.  Barroso ripped a shot from outside the 18 early in the half that sailed just high. 
 
They continued to apply pressure on the Chap defense, but Pablo Oloriz and Felipe Souza were unable to connect.  Tresor Kobea had an opportunity to get the Falcons on the board but was stopped by the Chap goalkeeper in the final 10 minutes of the night.  The Falcon defense played aggressively trying to tie the score after allowing an early goal but couldn't contain the Chaps who scored in bunches in the second half for the 6-0 final.
