UT Permian Basin Men's Soccer once again found themselves in a hard-fought defensive struggle Saturday afternoon.
Both teams went into the locker room looking for as neither side was able to break through and score, as they combined for just five shots.
In the second half the offenses started to pick up a little bit as each team put pressure on the other keeper.
Gustavo Barroso had the closest chance for the Falcons, but it just sailed wide of the net. At the 85
th minute the Patriots got a bounce on a perfectly placed shot off the right post and into the net for the 1-0 final.
