UT Permian Basin softball closed out its final road series of the season Friday, falling 2-1 and 10-2 in Lawton, Okla.
Trailing 2-0 after the Aggies scored a run in each of the first two innings, the Falcons threatened in the top of the fifth.

Vanessa Alonzo came up big with a two-out single into left to score Marion and cut the lead down to one.
Kayla Martin followed with a single to left to load the bases, but Cameron got out of the inning to strand all three runners and lead 2-1.Â
Marion was stranded on base as the tying runner, reaching with one out on an error and moving to second on the play.
Kayla Martin continued her strong play, going 2-3 at the plate in game one.
The Aggies used the long ball in game two, hitting three home runs, including a grand slam by Callie Busby.
