Box Score UT Permian Basin softball closed out its three day trip to Arizona Sunday with a 12-0 loss against #21 Colorado Mesa.

The Falcons were held to one hit on the day by Mavericks pitcher Shea Mauser. Kayla Martin had a double for the Falcons, her first of the season.

Valerie Gonzalez was the only other Falcon ro reach base against Colorado Mesa, drawing a walk out of the leadoff spot.

The Falcons return to Odessa for their home opener this coming week. UTPB faces Sul Ross Tuesday afternoon in a 2 p.m. doubleheader.
