UT Permian Basin Men's and Women's Swimming wrapped up its final home meet of the season Saturady with 12 combined wins in a pair of victories against Ouachita Baptist. The Falcon men won 256-47 while the UTPB women collected a 185-92 win.

Prior to the meet Saturday, the Falcons recognized their senior class of nine seniors; Bailey Benson, Hunter Bishop, Kaitlin Hirst, Juliana Kikumoto Dias, Kailen Randecker, Jennifer Sites, Darrin Dziergowski, Jeremy Pantalion, and Leonarda Souza were recognized and thanked for their accomplishments during their time as Falcons.

"We are proud of how our team finished the meet and competed throughout the morning.  It's always fun to end your home schedule with a win for your seniors," said Head Coach Cameron Kainer.  "We are proud of all of their accomplishments and excited to see them finish out the rest of the season.  While we have a young group of student athletes, this senior group has certainly paved the way for a lot of our success in and out of the pool. "

Jack Delfeld picked up two more individual victories for the second straight day. He took first in the 200 IM with a winning time of 2:03.82. He was joined in second place by Jacob Bibeau in 2:06.48, and George Black in third with a time of 2:06.81. Delfeld also won the 100 Breaststroke in 1:02.00 where the Falcons took the top five times in the race.

Jeremy Pantalion won the 50 Freestyle, swimming a time of 22.57. it was the second of three races on the day where UTPB had the top five finishes in an event.

Conor White took first for the men in the 100 backstroke with a time of 57.02. Alex Wickens was second with a time of 57.15 and Nick Elms third for the Falcons in 59.10.

Nikita Naumov won the 50 Butterfly, taking the event in 24.16.

The Falcon men also won a pair of relay events Saturday. William Spitz, Alex Wickens, Jeremy Pantalion and Nikita Naumov finished first in the 200 Freestyle Relay in 1:28.78 and the team of Wickens, George Black, Pantalion and Caleb Doehring finished in 3:52.76 to win the 400 Medley Relay.

On the women's side, Karley Thompson was first for UTPB in the 50 Freestyle, winning the event in 25.26. Jennifer Sites placed second in the event in 29.99, 

Jazmine Tscherne won the 100 Backstroke in 1:01.98.

Alexa Barnes won the 50 Butterfly, swimming the event in 27.77. Tscherne placed second behind her in 1:04.06, and Bailey Benson was third with a time of 1:05.77.

The Falcon women also won both of their relays on the day. Hunter Biship, Jazmine Tscherne, Reese Delfeld and Karley Thompson won the 200 Freestyle in 1:41.82, and Jennifer Sites, Juliana Kikumoto Dias, Bailey Benson and Katie Jankowski won the 400 Medley Relay with a time of 4:17.41.
