The UT Permian Basin men's soccer team fell 2-0 at St. Edward's on Thursday in a Heartland Conference match-up.

The game was a defensive battle deep into the first half.  UTPB was on able to register two shots in the first half to St. Edward's four.  St. Edward's was able to break through first though on a goal by Ruben Gonzalez from 25 yards out in the 44th minute.  In the second half St. Edward's would score in the 52nd minute to make it 2-0. UTPB would take three shots on goal in the second half but couldn't find the back of the net.

Santi Morales had a pair of shots on goal while Jordan Brown made three saves in goal in the effort. 

UTPB heads to Dallas to face Dallas Baptist before coming back home next week as they continue Heartland Conference play.
