Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 UT Permian Basin softball finished its 2018 season Saturday afternoon, dropping a pair of Lone Star Conference games 8-0 and 6-0 on the road at #15 Tarleton State in Stephenville, Texas.

A six-run bottom of the first gave the home town TexAnns an early lead in the opener, and Tarleton State ended the game with at least six players scoring a run and six driving in a run.

Lizzie Souza led the Falcons with a pair of hits atop the UTPB lineup, leading off the top of the third with an infield single to second before stealing second base, and a single into right field in the top of the fifth with two outs.

Souza had one of the team's three hits in game two, a 6-0 loss to the TexAnns in the season finale. Aubree Avila also went 1-3 at the plate behind Souza with a stolen base, and Adrianna Berzoza also collected a base hit in the night cap.
