UT Permian Basin ended a busy three week stretch early in the fall season this past weekend, swimming dual meets Friday against Henderson State and Oklahoma Christian, and Saturday against Ouachita Baptist and Oklahoma Christian.

Connor White picked up a victory for the Falcons on Friday, winning the 1,000 freestyle with a time of 10:10.43.

The Falcons had six other second place finishes on the day. Matthew Hayward in the 200 freestyle with a time of 1:48.10, Jack Delfeld in 2:03.14 in the 200 IM and 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:00.10, Nikita Naumov in 48.33 in the 100 freestyle, White a second place result of 4:56.85 in the 500 freestyle, and the team of Naumov, Errol Lizzotte, Jeremy Pantalion and Nolan Hines in 1:28.45 in the 200 freestyle relay.

Saturday saw the Falcons pick up four wins on the morning against Ouchita Baptist and Oklahoma Christian.

White was the first of four Falcons to score an individual win, taking first in the 1,000 freestyle in 10:09.43. Pantalion won the 100 freestyle with a time of 49.66. Gustavo Damis Resende won the 200 backstroke in 2:00.91, and Hayward swam the 500 freestyle in 4:59.29 to win the event.
