UT Permian Basin men's soccer scored twice in the first half and held on for its first win of the season 2-1 on the road against Dallas Baptist at Patriot Soccer Field in Dallas, Texas.
Tainan Bagetti gave the Falcons an early lead inside of 10 minutes when he scored off of a corner from
Cesar Cid crossed to the near post for the first goal of the game at 6:40.
Rafael Moreira connected on a penalty with just 33 seconds remaining in the half, doubling the lead to 2-0 at 44:27 of the first half.
Dallas Baptist grabbed a goal back in the second half when Ryan Anderson scored off of a free kick at 73:20, but the Patriots were unable to come through with the equalizer as the Falcons recorded five second half saves.
