UT Permian Basin women's soccer wrapped up its 2016 season with a conference victory on the road, winning 1-0 on the final day of the year at Texas Woman's at the TWU Soccer Field in Denton, Texas.

Deonna Calhoun scored the breakthrough goal in the 57th minute when she stole possession in the Pioneers' zone and found the net for her second goal of the season at 56:18.

The score held up for the lone tally of the match as UTPB keeper Megan Smith made three saves on the afternoon, facing 12 total shots to seven by the Falcons. UTPB held a five shot-on-goal lead to three by Texas Woman's.
