Brandon Lee scored once and assisted twice, and
Caio Toth added a goal and an assist Thursday night as UT Permian Basin men's soccer opened its game against Eastern New Mexico with four straight goals in a 4-1 defeat of the Greyhounds at the UTPB Turf Field.
Toth got the scoring started with the team's only goal in the first half, firing the ball off the cross bar and over the goal line in the 39th minute for his first of the season.
UTPB scored three times in the first 20 minutes of the second half, starting with
Tainan Bagetti's fourth goal of the season at 50:51.
Alex Clark knocked in a loose ball off the cross bar again after a corner kick 12 minutes later for his first of the season at 62:34.
Brandon Lee found the back of the net under two minutes later for his third point of the game and third goal of the season at 64:18.
UTPB pounded the Eastern New Mexico net all night with 15 of its 20 shots on-goal.
