UTPB Softball ended its 2015 regular season Saturday afternoon as the Falcons dropped a 9-1 decision to Oklahoma Panhandle State at the UTPB Softball Field in Odessa.

Samantha Arledge picked up her third win of the weekend for OPSU, limiting the Falcons to four hits and a pair of walks.

Niki DiSera got her first triple in her two-year career at UTPB in her final at-bat, hitting a ball off the left field wall to reach third to lead off the bottom of the seventh. She scored on a Chelsae Faries ground out to second base a batter later.

Darcie Wilson carried the OPSU offense, leading the Aggies with 6 RBI on the afternoon while three other players each had a pair of runs.

Following the game, the Falcons celebrated the accomplishments of seniors DiSera and Holly Herrington, thanking each for their two years as part of UTPB softball.
