#7 St. Mary's Silences Falcons Saturday Afternoon

#7 St. Mary's blanked UTPB softball twice Saturday, taking a 6-0 conference victory and earning an 8-0 win over the Falcons in a fouth non-conference game in San Antonio.

Irene Valdez and Adriana Berzoza each had a pair of hits in the opener as the Falcons recorded seven in the game, but UTPB was limited to a lone hit by Nikki Salazar in game two.

The Falcons are back in action Tuesday afternoon, taking on University of the Southwest Tuesday afternoon in Hobbs, N.M.
