Box Score 2 UTPB softball opened up a three-game set at Oklahoma Christian Friday night, dropping a pair of 7-0 and 10-2 contests on the road in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Oklahoma Christian pitcher Shea Coats limited the Falcons to a pair of hits, one each from
Mallory Hall and
Miley McKee while striking out 11 batters in seven innings in the 7-0 opening game.
The Falcons ended game two with eight hits on offense, getting two-hit nights from
Irene Valdez, McKee and
Adrianna Berzoza. McKee and
Chelsae Faries each drove in a run, but the Eagles started off the game with nine runs through two innings in the 10-2 game.
The two teams close out the weekend Saturday afternoon, playing the third of three games at noon.
