UTPB Swimming split in its Saturday dual against Trinity, with men's swimming earning a 121-108 victory and women's swimming falling 128-93. THe women's team only lost by three points, 96-93, without diving results factored in.
Nathan Pantalion led the UTPB men, scoring a pair of wins on the afternoon. Pantalion took first place in the 200 IM, winning in 2:01.00. He also won the 100 backstroke in 1:01.34.
David de Benito Cabezas led the Falcons to a win in the 100 butterfly with a first place time of 53.12.
The men's team also won a pair of relays, taking first in the 200 medley relay in 1:40.73 and the 200 freestyle relay in 1:30.77.
The UTPB women's team had a pair of individuals with two wins Saturday afternoon.
Peyton Slater won the 100 freestyle in 54.19 and the 200 freestyle with a time of 2:02.40.
Amanda Alspaugh won the 100 butterfly with a winning time of 1:00.16 and finished first in the 1,000 freestyle in 11:19.04.
Sammi Strohmeyer added a victory of 2:14.36 in the 200 IM.
The Falcon women also won the 200 medley relay in 1:54.04.
The Falcons are back in action next weekend, traveling to Abilene for a Friday night dual against McMurray.
