Ratliff Stadium
Falcon Football has called the historic Ratliff Stadium one of their homes since the start of the program. Made famous from the movie and novel, “Friday Night Lights,” Ratliff holds 19,302 people, the fifth largest capacity in Division II football. Ratliff is also the home of the Permian and Odessa High School Football programs along with hosting soccer and track events.
The most memorable moment in program history came at Ratliff. The Falcons routed Texas A&M—Kingsville 70-14 setting a number of program records in the win including, points in a game and margin of victory. The game will forever be remembered for the selfless moment when John O’Kelley handed an interception return to Chris Hoad so Hoad could score in his final game as a Falcon.
All-time the Falcons have 12 victories at Ratliff.
