Ashton was a major part of Falcon Volleyball's first 20-win season since 2008. She led the team with 339 digs and an average of 4 digs per set, starting the majority of the season at libero and defensive specialist. The junior, chemistry major has achieved the UTPB Presidents Honor Roll and the Lone Star Conference Honor Roll every semester. She made the 2019 LSC All-Academic Team and was a 2019 CoSIDA Academic All-District member.
Ashton also spends time as a Resident Assistant in the freshman dorm and works in the success center as a tutor and supplemental instructor. She has contributed in the community working with Honor Our Troops, the West Texas Foodbank, CampFire Kids, judged a science fair, and worked volleyball clinics for students.
