Hoad was all over the field for the Falcons in their 21-20 win over Western New Mexico.  The junior registered a game-high 15 tackles, including 10 in the second half of the Falcons comeback.  He played a major part in only allowing 233 yards of total offense, with nine solo tackles.  Hoad also had 2.5 tackles for loss for five yards and registered a quarterback hit.  He is currently second in the Lone Star Conference and  11th in the country with 56 tackles.  This is Hoad's second time receiving the award.
