Friel has been all over the court in the Falcon's 4-3 start to the season.  This season the junior from Rowlett has been outstanding in lead the Falcon attack.  She opened the season with 20 kills and a .455 hitting percentage against Southern Arkansas along with five assists, five digs and six blocks.  Against Union (Tenn.) she had 11 kills and a .304 hitting percentage in the four-set Falcon win.  Against St. Edward's and Colorado State - Pueblo she combined for 12 kills on 35 attempts for a .343 hitting percentage.  She leads the team in kills (63), points (88) and service aces (12).
