Tailgating

UTPB Football Tailgating

Tailgating is an integral part of the college football experience. Below are some of the basic guidelines that UTPB Falcon Fans need to know about tailgating at UTPB football games. For complete tailgating regulations, please go to utpbfalcons.com/tailgating

 

Where Can I Tailgate?
Tailgating for UTPB fans will take place in the west Parking lot at Ratliff stadium. 

 

When Can I Come to the Stadium to Tailgate?
You may enter the facility to set-up at 12:00 PM.

 

Tailgate End Time
It is recommended that tailgating activity end at 5:40 PM. The parking lot must be cleared by 10:00 PM.

 

Cost
There is no charge for parking or to participate in tailgating activity. 

 

Parking Orientation
Large vehicles (Motor Homes) should park in a north-south orientation.
Smaller vehicles should park in an east-west orientation.
Traffic lanes must remain clear at all times.

 

Restrooms and Dumpsters
Minimal numbers of portable toilets and dumpsters will be available along the west fence. Please plan to take your trash with you.

 

Consumption of Alcohol
Possession and consumption of alcohol is limited by state law. Minors cannot possess or consume alcohol. Drinking games, kegs, and uncontrolled access to alcohol are not allowed. Drunken behavior will not be tolerated. Know when to say when.

 

Tents and Canopies
You may not stake tents or canopies. Sandbags or other devices must be used to secure your structures.

 

Grilling
Grilling is allowed. Control your burners and keep them a safe distance from any flammable items. Cool your charcoal and take it with you when you leave.

 

Vendors and Soliciting
Individuals and groups are not allowed to sell merchandise or food in the lots. If you are interested in promoting or selling items in the facility, permission must be obtained from the athletic department. If interested, please call 432-552-2675. 

 

Tailgating Activity Timeline

12:00 pm      Gates are open for tailgate set-up. Spaces cannot be saved for others.

6:00 pm        Kickoff

10:00 pm      All vehicles must leave the lot
